Ipsum Planet is a creative studio which has brought together graphic designers, art directors and creative writers. It was set up in 1994 in Madrid by its Directors, Ramón Fano, Rubén Manrique and Javier Abio. The work of Ipsum Planet has developed mainly in the world of fashion and culture. One of its main projects is the production and publishing of the monthly magazine, Neo2, an international title linked to contemporary creation, which has just won the Annual Graphis Design 2009 Gold Award. The production of a monthly magazine differentiates Ipsum Planet from other creative studios in an activity that involves a direct and permanent creative exchange between Ipsum Planet and the best international professionals in design and communication.
In parallel with this literary project, Ipsum Planet
constantly collaborates with relevant brands and institutions: Cartier, Inditex (Pull & Bear, Often, Oysho), Lois, Springfield, ICEX (Spanish Fashion), the Madrid Regional Government (Ifema-Cibeles), the Ministry of Public Works, the Madrid City Council, MUSAC, Hugo Boss, and many more. Much of this work has been exhibited in well-known institutions and at important cultural events: ARCO, Sònar, Art Futura and the Palais de Tokyo in Paris. The evolution of this Spanish creative studio has also been the subject of articles in international publications and books, such as Strictly (Norway), WAD (France), MdN (Japan), Novum (Germany), Visual (Spain), Dpi (Taiwan), Vision (China), "Typo" (Monsa), "Tactile" (Die Gestalten), "We Love Magazines" (Mike Koedinger), "Marcas & Trademarks" (GG), "The Layout Look Book" (Collins Design)…
